In a rental agreement, the year of commencment was entered wrong. how does this affect the validity of the lease ?

If an obvious typo error such as 2010 entered instead of 2011,
should have no effect at all (in my opinion).

Further comment: The most important element in this kind of transaction is that
there was the proverbial "meeting of the minds" of the parties to
this contract regarding its essential terms, i.e., the landlord and tenant
in this case who obviously must have known and agreed to the year involved.
