Re: Rental Eviction
The landlord can write the tenant a so-called "5 DAY PAY OR QUIT NOTICE" or its equivalent whenever the tenant becomes delinquent in his or her rent. However, this is not court order for the tenant's eviction which can only come from a court of proper jurisdiction reviewing the matter after the landlord has filed the proper papers with such a court.
