Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
Rental Lease
If you have already established one rental lease between the Landlord and Tenant. Can the Landlord go back and change things in the lease?(basically creating a whole new one)
And what if I as the tentant don't agree with the second lease and don't want to sign it. What are some of more legal rights as a tenant

Re: Rental Lease
One party to a lease may not unilaterally change material terms in the lease without the aggreement of the other party. If the landlord is the party proposing material term changes to an existing lease, the tenant is under no obligation to sign such a lease.
