Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
I am renting a basement apartment in a single family home. The landlord frequently intrudes in our leased space. At times the landlord will do little things like coming downstairs and emptying our garbage for us, and later complaining that we werent taking it out on time. She also has closed the laptop that my roomate and had on. She has turned our internet off and air conditioning. We think all of this is in an attempt to push us to the point of breaking our lease or doing something out of spite to break the lease agreement.

So, what does your lease have to say regarding these
various unwelcome intrusions by this landlord on your right
to quite enjoyment of your leased premises?
If really nothing at all, then you're likely stuck with it
as described or risk the possible adverse consequence of your premature termination of your lease without this landlord's approval.
