Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

I am currently renting and due to medical issues am now 2 months in arrears on my rent...I have been served a 5 day notice to pay or leave, and now my landlord is bullying me by threatning to change the locks and so forth...what are my rights??

Basically, within five days to pay up (in order to cure your apparent default) or move from the premises.

However, should you do neither and stay on beyond the five days, the landlord is not legally empowered to resort to self help measures such as changing the locks to your rental unit but must have recourse to the accepted procedures in the local general district court for dealing with the situation described.
