Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
If you are renting from a homeowner and then the homeowner gives someone else power of attorney over the house should the person that will be taking care of the house let the tenants know about the change? Also can the person that has the power of attorney demand money or kick tenants out the next day and charge $200 late fee even if you are not late?

No matter what POA may have been given by the homeowner to some
third person, the lease in effect at that time should still govern the terms of
the tenancy involved until the natural expiration of the lease (my opinion).
