Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

I am renting a house, and my landlord is extremely nosy. He drives by at least one a day and keeps tabs on what I am doing. If he doesn't run into me, he will leave notes asking what I'm doing. This week he even entered the house while I was not home to "check on me and the house" In addition to this, he also gossips to other people about what I'm doing and has even called my parents with "concerns." It's one thing for him to obtain information about me, it's completely another to spread information he's gained by entering my home. Will getting him to sign a confidentiality agreement take care of this problem?

Who knows until you give it a try (would be my opinion).
