i have been at my residence since 2003, now my lanlord wants a month to month rental agreement with the nition of me leaving in early spring. She just gave the letter on 09-29-09 for my 60 days notice , but she wants a responce by 10-02-09, is this enoyhg time for me to respond

No, your landlord should be giving you 30 days advance notice of this change in your leasing arrangements.
