Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
If my room mate gave a notice she would be moving out within 45 days on July 17th then moved ALL stuff out on August 6th (did not pay rent for August or any uititlies) But is now upset she is being made to pay 2 months rent for breaking the lease and states she is moving back in. Can she do that since she gave notice and has vacatied the townhouse?

Yes, in all likelihood she can if the landlord permits it.
