Roomate and Unpaid Utilities
I entered into a 1yr Lease Agreement with a housemate; we are both on the lease.
The utilities, ie, gas & electric are split equally each month and are in my name only.
My housemate did not paid her 1/2 of the utilities for last month. I paid the total amount. I included the past due amount and the current amount for this month upon receipt of the bills.
What recourse do I have if she does not pay her 1/2 of the utilities?

File your case in small claims court(up to $2000).
