I just signed a lease on Friday 4/8/11. But now i,m having trouble getting the utilities turn on and finding appliancences. Can I get out of my lease? It actually don't start until May. I live in richmond, va

Yes, you could probably be released from this lease but
very likely only after paying quite substantial penalties to the landlord.
