Co signed rental lease with roomate trying to get money owed for rent from rooma
I Co-signed a rental lease with a roommate (Do not have copy of lease and cannot get a copy). The roommate was rejected however the lease was accepted with my name only. The lease period has since terminated and my ex-roommate owes me his share of one month's rent. Is there legal recourse to get the money owed to me?

Small Claims Court or its equivalent.
