Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
My sister in law is getting a divorce from her husband. They both live in a house owned by her parents. He currently has custody of their children and has stated that she is allowed to come to the house to visit them. However, her parents (who do not reside in the house at all) have stated that she is not allowed to come to the house more than twice a week. Do the owners of the house have the right to enforce that or is it at the discretion of the actual tenant/custodian of the children?

Absent a valid court order imposing such a restriction, neither the parents nor the husband may enforce such a restriction against the mother regarding when
she may visit her children at what apparently is the marital home (in my opinion).
