Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

My son is 25 years old, He is of no assistance to this household, he does not pay rent, pay bills, buy food or anything else. He will not keep a job and he uses school as his excuse for doing nothing useful. He says I have to give him a 30 day eviction notice is that true. If not, what can I do legally?

Thanks

Yes, apparently, under the current approach of local courts to this

kind of situation, you will need to follow the formal procedures for

evicting a tenant in order to have your son removed from your home.

(Go to the clerk 's office of your local general district court for

the forms and procedures you will need to follow.)
