Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
I am subleasing. My lease will be finished at the end of this June. I will be moving out in one week. In my home, which is shared with four other girls, I have used the washer and dryer for my clothing once. Now, our washer has broken and I have been asked to split the payment with the other girls. When I asked my Subleassor about the matter, she said I must pay because it is in my Master Contract. I never received or saw a copy of this master contract. Am I still binding to having to pay for the new washer?

So, ask to see this "master contract" to verify your sublessor's claim.
