Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

I terminated my lease and asked to be present for the final walk through. At the walk through I was told "everything's fine, I'll mail you a check". Long story short, they kept $425 to resurface the tub due to a water stain. Do I have a leg to stand on if I take them to small claims court? I don't feel it was my fault.

Yes, sue 'em in small claims court if you don't believe this "water stain"

was your fault.
