Unlawful Judgement

We vacated an apartment with 30 days notice before end of rental term. Paid rent until the rerented apartment.... nre renters didnt move in for 2 months. Complex had a judgement granted without our knowledge... complex had papers sent to old address on purpose. How do I appeal the judgement. The judgement says refusal to vacate.

Re: Unlawful Judgement

You don't appeal the judgment; rather you file a motion to set it aside or vacate it on grounds that you did not receive valid notice of the lawsuit which resulted in the judgment and, furthermore, that you were in full compliance with all of the requirements

of the lease until the unit which you had formerly occupied had been releted.
