Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
vacate
My son is 24 yrs old and moved back into town. His job and residence feel through. He begged his way into our home to stay until he gets on his feet. Months have gone by and he is abusive to family members and I want to know what form I can use to ''Kick him out''. We don't have any written agreement.

Re: vacate
Form to "kick him out"?. I'm afraid there is no such form for the particular purpose which you've describesd (to have your son ejected from your domicile).
Your best approach may be to write him a formal letter outlining the terms of your ultimatum
to him to leave your house by a date certain.
Deliver him a copy and require that he sign an acknowledgment of having received such which informs him that he has to leave your home by a date certain or he will be considered a trespasser, and that then you will have no alternative but to call local law enforcement, if necessary, to have him removed from your premises.
Then follow through with exactly what's required to bring it about in the event that your son doesn't move on his own accord within the required time frame.
