Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

Visitor parking

I signed a one year lease in June of 07 and they have changed policies for visitor parking permissions. When I signed, policies allowed me to obtain unlimited temporary parking passes for up to 2 weeks at a time. These policies have changed to now only allowing me to obtain said passes valid for only 24 hours. I am at work during apartment office hours so I am unable to get a pass during the week. I was given one permanant visitors pass. Basically, I am only able to have 1 visitor at a time during the week due to new policies. This is not what I signed up for when I signed my lease. Do I have an argument to be released from my lease?

Re: Visitor parking

No, what you've decribed would not constitute a basis that would allow you to legally disaffirm your lease without penalty (in my opinion).
