Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
I work for Kay Apts. I'm a maintenance Tech. We recently renewed my lease for my apt. On 6/2010, it was quoted, dated and signed that my rent would be $ 864. When rent was due my invoice stated $933 and they same for July rent. Now for August they stated my rent is $1,037 and they made a error. Can they just adjust my rent without meeting with me and giving me some sort of revision in writing. They are stating I might owe for June and July since it should have been $1,037 from the beginning.

If you have a written and enforceable contract for $854, that's what it
should be (legally speaking)until a written revision is executed and signed by all parties.
