Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Virginia
my boat has been in the shop for over 2 months. The company has changed personnel on me after the first three weeks. Then i was notified my boat needed parts, which was due in that week.Well i got a call the second week and they told me the order just went out that day. I had been waiting two weeks already.
I hope you see the picture. Now, this has been going on for 8 weeks.
last sunday the manager told me that my Prop for my boat was missing and it may be getting repaired, for what that's not the problem. Today i get a call and he ask me about what type of pitch and style it was. You got to be kidding me!!!
What can I do legally about this?

So, it would seem that the time has arrived for you to make a definitive
determination as to exactly how much of the commissioned work has actually
been completed by this company.(I am referring to, of course, the repairs
for which you originally brought the boat in to be done and not other matters supposedly discovered later by the manager or others.)
And, if little or none of this particular work has actually been completed, then it's
probably time for you to negotiate the release of your boat from this company and to look for someone else to complete the job which still remains to be done
before your boat can be lauched back into the waters in which it belongs.
