Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Virginia

credit card fees

I am a fully commissioned based sales rep. My emploter charges me a rate of 1.5% of my sales for customers that charge on AMEX. Is this legal that they charge me a part of the credit card fees that they have to pay to AMEX just because I am the sales rep fpr the account am I liable?

Unless you have a contract with this company which provides otherwise, it is undoubtedly quite "legal".
