Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Virginia
hairsalon
Two of my friends and i owned a hair salon for 10 yrs.We sold it 2yrs ago. There has been three owners since we sold. The last owner was very difficult to work for.She created a hostile work enviroment. My partners and I had a great opportunity to buy a business and leave where we were very unhappy.Several others employees wanted to come with us.Our former employer is now trying to have a injunction against us to prevent us from doing our clients that we have done for 15yrs or more.Plus her complaint states that we were in breach of fiduciary duties, conspiracy, conversionand tortious interference with contract. We had no contracts. Our client list was our index cards, which we bought and we had old appointment books from when we owned the shop. She saying we made our clients stop doing business with her.Our clients said they came to the salon because of us and not the salon. They also want us to give them our clients names.phone numbers and their addresses. Our clients say they do not want us to give their information out.

Re: hairsalon
Not enough information to repond to this question. You likely would be well advised to arrange for a consultation with an attorney who practices in the areas of law which you've apparenly been alleged to have violated in this pending injunction.
