Can a Notary for the Commonwealth of Virginia notarize an acknowledgment of a minor?

I have reviewed Title 47.1 of the Code of Virginia and specifically Sections 47.1-12(notarial powers), 47.1-14(notarial duties), and 47.1-15(notarial prohibitions), and find nothing to suggest that in order to be notarized, a signature must be inscribed only by an adult.
