Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Virginia

Phillip Morris enslaved me.

When I was 14 years old, Phillip Morris, in my opinion, enslaved me to smoking cigarettes.

I had never been told that they were harmful or addictive.

I'm curious, can a single individual sue a company for something like this?

I understand that it's come out now, that they knew about this for many years and consistantly denied it.

Can anything be done? Anyone who smokes and tried to quit or had managed to quit knows what kind of hell it is.

Only a handful of lawyers have taken these cases. They are extremely, extremely, extremely difficult and risky, requiring the investment of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Therefore, only cancer cases where there is or will be death will be considered. William S. Stern
