Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Virginia
Can I press charges for personal videos being tampered with?
I have a work/personal cell phone (I opted out is carrying 2 phones) and I accidentally left a video that was very personal on it from months ago. While I was at event, no cell phones were allowed so I asked my co-worker to take my cell to my office for me. Later that night, while at home I get an email of something that was sent from my phone to the branch managers email address. When I looked on my phone to see what it was, it turned out to be that video. Can I do anything?

Additional Details
actually...i DO have proof. I have the proof on the time this video was emailed to the email address in question and that time coincides with the event I was at and who I was with who saw me give my phone to a co-worker to put in my office. Further proof is that the time that email was sent, I have a receipt from the event i was at showing a time that falls into that time-frame.
I also have the email address it was sent to with the time posted on it.

and unfortunately they do search you for a phone or camera as this was the U.S. Open and no items of that nature are allowed.
