Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Virginia
I purchased a vehicle in December of 2008. This weekend I found 2 bags of narcotics stuffed inside a compartment. I called the police and filed a report, that stated the drugs have been there longer than the car has been in my possession and that it was enough to put someone behind bars for distribution. I have already called the dealership and they have no intention of compensating me. What action can I take?

None (in my opinion) until you incur measurably compensable damages
proximately caused by the narcotic contraband which you've described and which you discovered in that car after you purchased the vehicle.
I see no such compensable damages incurred by you and referenced in
your question.
Your question is not clear what you want to be compensated for. Did the police take the car?
i am sure that this would not make you happy. But what losses or expenses have you suffered? Your question is not clear.
