graphic design ownership
When a graphic design contractor is hired to produce a layout and insert graphic design for a magazine, who is the owner of the design? The magazine or the designer?

If an employee, likely would be "work for hire" and owned by employer. If contracted, should be in the contract if owned by employer and not the contractor. You may need to consult an attorney to determine the precise answer here.
