Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Virginia

death

My mother was hospitalized for pain management/rehab.

She also had CHF

She was placed on Lovenox, an antigoagulant. She never had takenit before, just a baby asprin. She had a stroke; an NG tube was inserted. A speech pathologist said she was ok to swallow & removed tube. Two hours later she was vomiting blood, (about 2qts) ended up in ICU. She died 5 days later. Should more have been done to help? I am sure she was on too much blood thinners.
