Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Virginia

Dental Malpractice - Wisdom Teeth Extraction and Numbness

I had my wisdom teeth removed in Northern Virginia in September of 2003 and believe I have incurred permanent nerve damage. Because of this surgery I have numbness and altered taste on the right side of my mouth as well as difficulty speaking when I get tired. I believe my dentist did not alert me of the risks associated with my surgery, nor did he take the appropriate precautions given the condition of my wisdom teeth.

I have since moved to Charlottesville, VA, but am unable to find a lawyer in my area who deals with dental malpractice. I would like to find out more information about my rights and options in this situation.
