Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Virginia
I had a hysterectomy and bladder sling surgery 5 years ago, now I have a bacterial infection I am on 3 different meds and need another surgery due to the fact that either packing left inside me is coming out or the sling around my bladder has come off. Either way I am in pain and I need a solution. Nikaya Johnson, Chesapeake va.

More relevant facts would appear necessary (in my opinion) to evaluate/determine whether your previous surgery did not meet the standard of care then prevailing in the community where it was performed, and, in particular, an opinion from an expert as to whether your current described medical condition has resulted from the previous surgeon's failure to meet that standard of care that should have been reasonably expected of him at that time.
