Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Virginia
medical malpractice against a minor/statute of limitations
What is the statute of limitations for filing a medical
malpractice suit if you were a minor at the time the
malpractice occurred and if the malpractice caused a
lifetime disability that did not manifest itself until years
later?

The applicable law regarding this type of malpractice would be the state in which it allegedly occurred. Under the circumstances you've described, you would probably have somewhere between two and five years after the malpractice was either discovered or could have been discovered with reasonable diligence to bring the action against the alleged perpetrator.
