Legal Question in Military Law in Virginia
I'm 18 and engaged to a man who is 24 years old. I've known him since we were 16 and 22. We have both liked each other since we met but we never ever did anything illegal because we knew what the consequences would be. Throughout the years we kept in contact and he is now in the Army. My dad claims to have keylogged my computer and hacked my email and gotten emails from me and him when he claims to have said he "told him not to speak to me." Now my dad is saying he's going to take him to court for speaking to me while I was a minor just so he can put his military career in jeopardy. Personally I don't think he can do that but can someone tell me please, can he and what should I say the next time he tries to fire that one at me? - I'm placing this under military law as this does effect my future husbands career.

The young man speaking to you while you had the status of a minor would not be a crime nor any offense for which he could be taken to court by your father or anyone else.
