Legal Question in Military Law in Virginia
Early discharge
I am currently enlisted in the navy. I have been in 3 years now and my career has been frought with supervisors who have done everything wrong as far as my advancement within the Navy. To give a little background i was an airman for two years and after fighting tooth and nail and having to take leave in order to avoid being forced to take an advancement exam i didnt want to take. i finally managed to get into the IT field where ive wanted to be all along. Now and i am an IT after trading in my british citizenship for american citizenship and even then being denied the right to an advancement test due to superiors not submitting the paperwork in time. I finally made IT3 and now yet again im being told that i cant advance as my clearance isnt done despite having been under investigation for over a year. I now have my own profitable business on the outside and with a year left and being told yet again that i wont get the chance to advance I am looking for any way out i can. I considered intentionally failing PRT's but a friend suggested that i look into trying to get an honorable discharge due to breach of contract. Is this feasible since i dont have my TS clearance(a requirement 4 IT's) due to the fact that i have family in England
