Legal Question in Military Law in Virginia
if the government shuts down and is not able to pay the troops, but wants personnel to continue working does that fall under the federal labor laws wherein they would have to notify personnel of the specific date they would be paid? Also is that a breech of contract?

A "government shut down" has never resulted in suspending or withholding military pay and allowances.
