Legal Question in Military Law in Virginia
Military Of Veterans Rights
I retired from the USAF in 1983, and I have several disabilities. I have been trying to get disability benefits for 12 years now and every time I submit a claim I am denied. I would like to know if there is a lawyer in the Hampton Roads area that can help me fight to finally get my benefits. Any information would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.

What type of disability benefits are you seeking? VA? Military? Social Security? I need more facts to advise you.
Re: Military Of Veterans Rights
The fact that you have one or more disabilities will not in itself qualify you for benefits. You must show that that one or more of these disabilities is credibly connected to your service in the USAF. The fact that you've been
repeatedly denied suggests that either your claimed disabilities are not persuasively connected with your military service or that somehow your issues have not been correctly framed
and supported by the required facts (which may exist but have not been brought out)in the paperwork which you've submitted.
