Legal Question in Military Law in Virginia
What possible options are there to enlist in a military branch with a small criminal background? Besides going straight to a recruiter who wont want to help with this, can you get some sort of congressional waiver or even try to get the charge re worded through the court system? Charge was a misdomeanor for attempt to obtain drugs by fraud. Just a couple options I've seen. Any others would be greatly appreciated.

There is no substitute for checking with a recruiter. They will give you current policy on waivers for criminal convictions. They will work with you if there is any chance they can get you in.
