Legal Question in Military Law in Virginia

Re-Entry Code

I was discharged out of the navy in June of 2007. I received a HKQ separation code, a RE-4 re-entry code and my narrative reason is Misconduct due to commission of serious offense. I basically had a civilian charge at that the time with a court date set during the time my boat was to go on deployment. The civilian charges were dismissed and charges were dropped. So is there anyway my re-entry code can be changed?

Re: Re-Entry Code

Did you have an administrative discharge board or did you waive this? Did you fight the discharge in any way? Your only option would be to file a petition with teh Board for Correction of Records in Dc to try to change the discharge or re-enlistment code. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or want to discuss this.
