Legal Question in Military Law in Virginia
Son getting discharged from Coast Guard
To answer your question Attorney Sikes no he isnot medicated now. He has already went back on the boat and was fine, his Chief thought everything would be fine but a few days later he told my son they had already started he discharge papers, but the Chief on board really likes my son and told him they were railroading him and the XO was trying to help and they would see if it could be stopped. Yesterday he was told he is being discharged he really wants to stay in. I dont understand why they have not let him have any type of hearing at all or even an attorney.

Medical discharge or misconduct. It can make a difference.
What type of discharge are they recommending: medical, misconduct (Honorable, General, Other than honorable).
