Legal Question in Military Law in Virginia
Is it statutory rape?
Im 17 (18 in 18 more days) and my boyfriend is 25. We keep our relationship completely G rated, no sexual stuff at all. Hes a marine and Im still a highschool student, which does break a rule essentially but we don't do anything at all that could get him into trouble. Can kissing me get him charged with statutory rape and dishonorably discharged?

Absolutely not. You are fine. He will not be in trouble for dating you.
Re: Is it statutory rape?
Glad you are G-rated. But a word of caution. Don't ever send pictures of yourself while under 18, to him by email or electronic or digital mean, especially of you unclothed or something similar.
Odd you say. Military personnel (and people in the civilian community) are being prosecuted for having such pictures because they are considered child erotica or child pornography under federal and military anti-pornography laws.
