Very unhappy

I want out of the miilitary! the job i have in the military is not for me. Im a ABE in the navy on board a aircraft carrier i have a massive fear of being on the flight deck it causes panic attacks any time i have to go up their when the ship is moving. when I joined i was under the impression that my job would be below deck where i wouldnt be in harms way what can i do to either get out or change my rate.

Re: Very unhappy

This is an issue that can only be handled via your chain of command. You can certainly request reassignment aboard the ship or a change of rate, but it is up to your CO whether to grant your request. The needs of the command will take priority over your desire to change jobs. Best of luck.
