Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

Accident

I was in an accident 9/21/06. I went to the emergency room in the ambulance. I went to my Dr. and he suggested that I go to a physical therapist. I went about 3 months. Nationwide the other persons insurance that was at fault wanted me to send my bills. They totaled over 6000.00 and they claim that all they can give is 6000.00 for medical and 5000.00 for pain and suffering. I really think it is unfair. I have not been totally done seeing my Dr. yet. what

should I do.

You sound as if you've been trying to handle this matter on your own without the aid of an attorney appropriately knowledgeable and experienced in these kinds of matters, and, with predictable result, i.e., another "low balled" offer from the defendant's insurance carrier which fails to compensate you adequately for the damages which you've suffered from the accident.

Better get a lawyer and sue the SOB(s).
