Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

adjoining property owner

i own 70 acre farm in my hometown. on the farm there is a dog kennel used by a friend of mine where he keeps his hunting dogs with my permission. two years ago i sold three house site lots from my farm and a middle aged couple and their parents live there now. these people are intent on getting rid of these dogs because they bark. i cant find any county laws against dog barking or state. these people watch every action i make on the farm and call authorities when they think i have done something wrong. i cleared some brush aroung the farm fields and they call the environmental officials to try to get me charged with a crime. they have also called authorities about the dogs checking on the licenses of them. i tried to get a permit for mining sand and gravel and they have formed an oposition against me. also, they have told lies to the local government officials about me dumping waste on the land and mining illegally. it seems these people want to hurt me through the law, word of mouth, and any way they can for some reason. they have trespassed on the land. Is it any legal thing that i can do to stop these people from harassing me.

Re: adjoining property owner

Based upon what you've described thus far, I would doubt it. (A very costly decision on your part, it must now seem, selling off those three house sites to three quirky strangers who apparently now watch and wait for their opportunities to harry you at every turn.)
