Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

I was assaulted with paint

At a party last night, I had paint

thrown on me specifically. This was

after I had a small, completely verbal

argument with the girl for making

fun of and spilling her drink on my

boyfriend. After leaving the

conversation I went back outside to

sit down, a few minutes later to have

her come out and throw red paint all

over my skin and clothes. What are

my options? I really only want her to

pay for my clothes.

After you send her your formal written demand notice for payment by a date certain for the damages caused to your clothes by the red paint, and which she then chooses to ignore, you can then file your case in small claims court for around $40.
