When a child is severely injured from being hit by a car while riding a bicycle, what compensation are the PARENTS entitled to, based on things such as the child's medical bills and loss of wages due to care for the child?

All of those items mentioned should be compensable from the one who was responsible for causing such injuries.

If suit is filed, however, the parent(s) would be filing in behalf

of the injured child rather than themselves to recover these damages

from the alleged tortfeasor.
