Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

court ordered judgement

A judgement has been made aginst a business in the state of Virginia. This business has been skirting the law and have not paid the judgement. The case was sent before a grand jury and the business was ordered by the court to close pending payment of judgement. This business is an insurance firm with smaller insurance firm under it's ceiling. There is still no movement by this business. What, if anything, do you think they might be doing and what do you think my next option might be???

Re: court ordered judgement

Your question is all muddled. Cases involving businesses which merely owe unpaid judgments are not normally sent

to grand juries which are empaneled to

review possible criminal matters. Nor would such a business be ordered closed by a court merely because a judgment remains unpaid.

You say "there is still no movement by this business". Movement to do or for what? And, you further ask: "What, if anything do you think they might be doing and what do you think my next option might be?".

Well, who would know under these facts?

Who are you with respect to this business, a judgment creditor, or what?

If a creditor seeking to enforce a judgment in your favor, your task is to locate assets of the business which can be attached in order to satisfy the judgment.
