Re: what to expect for a settlement

It is impossible to answer without more information. How old is your wife? Does she work? How much in bills and expenses? Were the bills paid by your auto ins company? Will she need future care and surgery? What are the insurance policy limits? Only an experienced attorney can assist you after evaluating all factors to give you a "range of reasonableness" for settlement purposes. You might do this by payng for a simple consultation fee before considering hiring the lawyer on a percentage basis. If she still has pain you may want another medical opinion.

That question is almost impossible to answer in a vaccuum. How strong are the doctors? Any preexisting conditions? How much in past and future medical bills. You really should sit down and consult with an atty in your area about this one. Anything you get over the Internet on these limited facts will not be trustworthy.
