Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

If my Mom has been diagnosed with dimentia (early stage) and she is still driving/ could I be held liable for a car accident that she causes since I am her POA?

No, not likely (my opinion).

However, she could still certainly find herself the subject of a civil

lawsuit for any damages resulting from such an accident and

therefore should probably be counselled to cease and desist from

all activities associated with operating a motor vehicle.
