Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

Mouth Injury

I found a piece of a food processor that was used to chop up the cabbage in my food. Although I bit down on it, I suffered no real physical harm (thankfully). The company's Law Dept has notified me to contact them. Should I look for some punitive settlement since I did not have any real damages? I got the impression that they would like to pay me not to spread the name of the company around.

Re: Mouth Injury

What's the honest and, therefore, the correct approach for this particular situation? Looking for some punitive settlement(paid for, ultimately, by you know who) when you, by your own admission, suffered no damage?

No, I don't think so.
