Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

rear end collision

hello, i was rear ended on an interstate. traffic was stopped, i was the last in the line of stopped vehicles(1-2 car lengths behind the vehicle in front of me, full stop)in a toyota matrix. an olds bravada rear ended me. she was going 65 mph. i had to be extricated from the vehicle. the driver of the bravada was at fault(state trooper stated this, following too closely). my neck, back, and right knee are in severe pain. Do I have grounds for a lawsuit?

Re: rear end collision

Yep, I would say that you do(or so it would appear), but I would not necessarily (if I were you)be relying merely upon the trooper's statement regarding the culpability of the rear-ender.
